Today cookies are used in connection to virtually all websites and are in many cases required in order to deliver services on the websites.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a file that your PC, smartphone or other IT devices save in order to recognize the equipment. Cookies are among others used for collecting statistics on the users’ utilization of the website and in order to optimize the content of the site. A cookie is a passive file and therefore unable to compile information on the users’ PC and cannot inflict any computer viruses or other damaging software.

When you visit our websites for the first time, you have to consent our use of cookies. The next time you visit our website and use the same browser you will not have to consent again and the system will continue to place cookies. Why do we inform about cookies?

All Danish websites are obliged to inform about which cookies that are placed in the users IT equipment. The information has to be in accordance with “Executive order on requirements for information and consent to the storage of and access to information in the users terminal equipment” (the cookie order). 

Processing personal data and cookies

When you accept the use of cookies on our websites, we process personal information about you in terms of your IP-address. The purpose of the process is to generate statistics on the use of our website and in order to improve the user quality on our websites.
