The Danish Presidency of the Council 2025

From 1 July to 31 December 2025, Denmark was holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This was a major and significant task, with Denmark steering the political agenda and driving the negotiations in Brussels. In the field of culture, the ambition was to make media and culture cornerstones of the defence of European democracies.
